Transportation Day

Yesterday (12/31), we went on a transportation adventure. Dad had to bring the airplane up to John Wayne Airport to be serviced, and we thought it would be fun to make a day of it. We flew the airplane up, and then took the Amtrak train home. Planes, trains, and automobiles!

PLANES

"Daddy's airpwane!"

Not sure what to think when the engines start.

We had to hold hands the entire flight. The pictures I took of Holden in flight didn't turn out well (still learning to use our new camera), but let's just say he wasn't that thrilled about it. I let go of his hand for about 30 seconds and he completely lost it. The rest of the flight he was fine, but he had these two things to say about it, "No like it, airpane." and "Airpwane scare you."

I do have to say it was a pleasant flight. Daddy is a good pilot!

AUTOMOBILES

We took a cab from the John Wayne Airport to the Amtrak station.

TRAINS

We had about 45 minutes to wait until the train came. Holden found ways to entertain us all. Quite the busy boy!
