Holdenisms

Holden is talking up a storm lately. During the fire week, he seemed to double the amount of talking he was doing. His caretakers even commented about his talking when he returned to school. Here are some of his favorite sayings:

"Where Papy Gene go?" Replace Papy Gene with Daddy, Houton (Can't say the /s/ in Houston yet), Lupe (childcare), Cicole (Nicole at childcare), Calvin; you've got the gist of how often we hear this.

"Whassat?" He likes to quiz us now on things. If we get them correct he says "Yes! Whassat?"

"Jump?" (off the table, chair, etc.)
Mommy replies, "No."
"Sit down?"
Mommy happily says, "Yes!"

"Holden read it."

"Holden's!"

"Mines!"

"No!"

"Holden do it!"

"Go pay (play)!"

"Rock a bit." When it's time for bed, he asks if I can rock him for a bit longer.

"B-ush Teef" Brushing his teeth is his all-time favorite thing right now.

I can't believe I forgot these originally, he sounds so cute when he says them:

"No yike it!"

"I yike it!"
