Swim Lessons

Holden started swimming lessons at Noonan Family Swim School on Sunday, April 13th. We're enrolled in a "Parent and Me" class twice a week - Sunday and Monday. It's been a lot of fun so far. We sing songs, play games and do little drills in the water. Holden is learning to submerge (swim under water), float, blow bubbles, jump off a mat to us, and reach for our arm while under water. His favorite part of the class is when he gets to swim across the pool (with us holding on to him) to get a ball and put it into a bucket. As soon as I say we're going swimming class, he says, "Get ball. Get ball." It's still the simple things in life that bring him such joy!

Such a Thinker!

I picked Holden up from school on Thursday, and heard the funniest story about him. I guess his friend Ella was pushing him on the swing that day, and he wanted her to stop. He said, "No push, Ella." She kept pushing. "No push, Ella." Still didn't work so he said, "See that red car? Go over there!"
